Lab-grown diamonds
What is a lab-grown diamond?
A diamond. The same pure carbon, the same crystal, hardness and fire as a diamond from the earth. It is simply grown above ground, in weeks rather than over billions of years.
Is it a real diamond?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are physically, chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds. Side by side, under a loupe, no one can tell them apart. Only a laboratory instrument can.
How is it different from a mined diamond?
Only in its origin. It is graded on the same scale for cut, colour, clarity and carat, and disturbs far less of the earth. Read the full comparison in our guide, Lab-grown and mined.
Are your diamonds certified?
Every diamond we set, from 1 cent to 10 carats, is graded independently by IGI, the International Gemological Institute, and its report comes with your piece. Our guide shows how to read your IGI report.
Why does a lab-grown diamond cost less?
It skips the mine and the long chain of hands a mined stone passes through. More of what you spend goes into the stone itself and the making, so you can choose a larger or finer diamond for the same budget.
Choosing your piece
What do you make?
Rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets and bangles set with lab-grown diamonds, as well as pieces with lab-grown emerald, ruby and sapphire.
Which gold do you use?
9K, 14K or 18K BIS hallmarked gold, in yellow, white or rose. Our metal guide explains how each differs.
Can I customise a piece, or design my own?
Yes. You can change the stone, carat, gold and size of most designs, or create something entirely new with one of our designers. You approve a sketch and a photo-real 3D render before anything is cast, and most commissions take three to five weeks. Begin a custom piece.
How do I find my ring size?
Use our size guide to measure at home, or measure a ring that already fits the same finger. If you are unsure, write to us before ordering.
Can I see the jewellery in person?
Yes. Visit our boutique in Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi, or join us on a video call. Book a private appointment.
Orders, payment and delivery
Is every piece made to order?
Most are. Each is made for you in the gold, size and stone you choose, and finished by hand in our atelier. A selection is also held in stock, ready to ship.
How is the price worked out?
Every price is itemised, so you can see exactly what you pay for the gold, the stones and the making. Open the price breakup on any product page.
What payment options are available?
Credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking and EMI, all through a secure checkout.
How long does delivery take?
Pieces in stock, loose diamonds and gemstones are dispatched within 48 hours. Made-to-order pieces take 14 to 21 days to make. Your timeline is confirmed with your order.
Is delivery insured?
Yes. Delivery is free and fully insured across India, and your piece arrives in our box with its IGI report. See our shipping policy.
Returns, exchange and care
Can I return a piece?
Yes, within 15 days of delivery. Our returns policy sets out which pieces qualify and how to send one back. Engraved pieces cannot be returned.
What is your lifetime exchange?
At any time, you can exchange your Diamos piece for something new. You receive the full value of its gold at the day's rate and 80% of its diamonds' value. Engraved pieces are excluded. Read the lifetime exchange policy.
Are lab-grown diamonds durable?
As durable as any diamond: 10 on the Mohs scale of hardness, the hardest natural material known. They are made to be worn every day.
How should I care for my jewellery?
Store each piece separately, keep it away from harsh chemicals, and clean it gently with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush. Our care guide covers the rest.
Can my ring be resized or repaired?
Most rings can be resized, with complimentary resizing in the first year, and most pieces can be repaired. A full eternity band cannot be resized once set. Write to us and we will advise on your piece.
