About the collection
Cushion Cut Lab Grown Diamond Rings & Jewellery
A cushion cut is a square or rectangle with rounded corners and large facets: softer than a princess, with the deep fire of an old-mine cut. It flatters a halo and looks larger face-up than its carat suggests. Cushion laboratory-grown diamonds vary more than any other shape in how they return light — "crushed ice" or "chunky" facet patterns — so we select for the pattern that suits the setting, not just the grade on the report.
Here are cushion cut solitaire and halo rings, proposal rings, ear studs and pendants from 0.50 to 3 carats, each IGI certified and made to order in BIS-hallmarked 9K, 14K or 18K gold at our South Delhi atelier. See how cushion compares with princess and oval in the diamond shapes guide, or try them side by side at the boutique in C.R. Park.
Grown, not mined. A lab-grown diamond is physically, chemically and optically the same as a mined diamond. It is graded on the same scale for cut, colour, clarity and carat, and every Diamos diamond carries an independent IGI report.
Cut comes first. Cut decides how much light a diamond returns to your eye. A well-cut stone of a smaller carat will often look brighter, and larger, than a poorly cut stone that weighs more.
Shape changes the look on the hand. Oval, pear and marquise cuts spread across more of the finger than a round of the same weight. Emerald and Asscher cuts trade sparkle for long, calm flashes of light and reward higher clarity.
Choose your gold with your skin tone in mind. White gold sharpens a colourless stone, yellow gold adds warmth, and rose gold softens the whole piece. We set in 9K, 14K and 18K BIS hallmarked gold.
