The Everyday Minimalist
The Everyday Minimalist is jewellery for ordinary days. Settings sit low, so rings slip under cuffs and into gloves and never snag on knitwear; studs lie close, so they don't catch on a scarf or a phone; bracelets sit flat against the wrist beside a watch. Small enough for the office, bright enough for dinner afterwards.
Solid gold and lab grown diamonds take daily wear in their stride. When the shine dulls, warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush bring it back. For rings worn every day, 14 karat gold is harder wearing than 18.
Grown, not mined. A lab-grown diamond is physically, chemically and optically the same as a mined diamond. It is graded on the same scale for cut, colour, clarity and carat, and every Diamos diamond carries an independent IGI report.
Cut comes first. Cut decides how much light a diamond returns to your eye. A well-cut stone of a smaller carat will often look brighter, and larger, than a poorly cut stone that weighs more.
Shape changes the look on the hand. Oval, pear and marquise cuts spread across more of the finger than a round of the same weight. Emerald and Asscher cuts trade sparkle for long, calm flashes of light and reward higher clarity.
Choose your gold with your skin tone in mind. White gold sharpens a colourless stone, yellow gold adds warmth, and rose gold softens the whole piece. We set in 9K, 14K and 18K BIS hallmarked gold.
