The Icon Series
An icon is a design to which nothing can be added and from which nothing can be taken away: a single diamond on a fine chain, a line of stones set edge to edge, a pair of studs that sit close to the ear. These are the pieces to buy first and wear most, alone with a white shirt or together for an evening, and the ones most often given for a graduation, a first salary or a milestone birthday.
With so little metal, the diamond does all the work, so every centre stone in the series carries its own IGI report. For daily wear, choose a bezel setting, a slim rim of gold around the stone; claws lift the diamond higher and let in more light. Each piece is made to order in 9, 14 or 18 karat gold.
Grown, not mined. A lab-grown diamond is physically, chemically and optically the same as a mined diamond. It is graded on the same scale for cut, colour, clarity and carat, and every Diamos diamond carries an independent IGI report.
Cut comes first. Cut decides how much light a diamond returns to your eye. A well-cut stone of a smaller carat will often look brighter, and larger, than a poorly cut stone that weighs more.
Shape changes the look on the hand. Oval, pear and marquise cuts spread across more of the finger than a round of the same weight. Emerald and Asscher cuts trade sparkle for long, calm flashes of light and reward higher clarity.
Choose your gold with your skin tone in mind. White gold sharpens a colourless stone, yellow gold adds warmth, and rose gold softens the whole piece. We set in 9K, 14K and 18K BIS hallmarked gold.
